"God gives every bird its food, but He does not throw it into its nest."
J. G. Holland

This wire and stone egg sculpture in dramatic black and white with selective lighting can have meaning of home, security, birth, childhood, baby, family, protection. The rough surfaces of the stone eggs contrast with the dark texture of the wire twigs and the white eggs glow as the world around goes dark and shadowy.

A bird nest is the spot in which a bird lays and incubates its eggs and raises its young. Although the term popularly refers to a specific structure made by the bird.

In this case the nest maybe made by a phoenix - In Greek mythology, a phoenix or phenix (Greek: φοῖνιξ phoinix) is a long-lived bird that is cyclically regenerated or reborn. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. The phoenix was subsequently adopted as a symbol in Early Christianity. While the phoenix typically dies by fire in most versions of the legend, there are less popular versions of the myth in which the mythical bird dies and simply decomposes before being born again. or perhaps a Dragon - A dragon is a legendary creature, typically with serpentine or reptilian traits, that features in the myths of many cultures. There are two distinct cultural traditions of dragons: the European dragon, derived from European folk traditions and ultimately related to Greek and Middle Eastern mythologies, and the Chinese dragon, with counterparts in Japan (namely the Japanese dragon), Korea and other East Asian countries.
