Description
Enter at your own risk. One of several historic covered bridges in the town of Cornish, New Hampshire. High dynamic range photography by Edward M. Fielding
...
One of three covered bridges you can visit in the town of Cornish, New Hampshire, former home of recluse J.D. Salinger, author of Catcher in the Rye. Just across the Connecticut River from Windsor, Vermont via the Cornish-Windsor bridge. Cornish is listed first because New Hampshire's boundary goes across to the Vermont side of the Connecticut River, which means NH picks up the tab for bridge maintenance, only fitting that they get to name the bridges.
