A somber infra red image of Wells Beach, Maine in the off season.
Toned black and white photograph of the classic beach cottages along the shoreline of Wells, Maine. Processed like an old vintage infrared film photograph.
In infrared photography, the film or image sensor used is sensitive to infrared light. The part of the spectrum used is referred to as near-infrared to distinguish it from far-infrared, which is the domain of thermal imaging. Wavelengths used for photography range from about 700 nm to about 900 nm.

Having living in Galveston (in the past) for over a decade, I’ll call this wonderful shot, esp being off season - serene! Love it! l/f! :)
